DataSet Vision 5.00.01

DataSet Vision now includes an option to install SQL Server Express SP2. (Ref: E1271).

DataSet Vision enables users to send events to a specific Net Report filter in order to create statistics on the use of queries, reports, cubes and EBIS projects via the Web Server. These logs can also include events linked to DataSelect V6 queries and reports. (Ref: E1272).

 

DataSet EBIS 5.00.01

EBIS now enables users to manage connection parameters for data sources used in a project. The ID and password can be transferred as parameters when connecting to the data source for a query, report or a cube. (Ref: E1269).

Bugs Fixed

The known problem which has been fixed in this version, is as follows:

  • The Cube Chart tab in EBIS projects does not take parameters into account. This problem has been fixed. (Ref: B3296).

  • A cube in a report sometimes modified the page width when it was generated. This problem has been fixed. (Ref: B3297).

  • The SendVisionCube.xsl file was omitted when a user exported a cube in HTML from Vision locally. This problem has been fixed. (Ref: B3298).

  • An error appeared in EBIS in English or in German (but not in French) if the user selected the Extended tab in the Edit box. This problem has been fixed. (Ref: B3299).

  • The EBIS Edit box no longer allowed a parameter’s value to be empty. This problem has been fixed. (Ref: B3300).

  • There was a problem with the installation of DataSet Web Server on Windows Vista. This problem has been fixed. (Ref: B3301).

  • The background picture in an EBIS button was no longer displayed if the user used RunEbis.exe. This problem has been fixed. (Ref: B3303).

  • RunEbis.exe does not display buttons, option buttons and check boxes in the same way as EBIS.exe. This problem has been fixed. (Ref: B3305).
